Scotland says no

The Union Jack will stay unchanged as Scotland votes against independence. 55% of the voters decided it was better for Scotland to remain in the United Kingdom than venture out on its own. The 307-year old union between Scotland and England will continue though the passion of the campaign for independence will most likely endure.
Saint Andrew's Cross will remain part of the Union Jack. Many have wondered what the United Kingdom would have done to the Union Jack had Scotland voted to leave. Some suggested to replace the blue portion of the Union Jack with the color black, represented by New Zealand.
Regardless of the outcome, Patriot Wood still offers wooden flag versions of both the Union Jack and the Flag of Scotland. Head over to PatriotWood.com to order your favorite handcrafted wood flag today.
